Helene Malmkvist from Nacka Sweden placed second overall woman at the Kalmar Triathlon which is the National Swedish Championships at the Iron Distance. Helene clocked a 9:48 and this was also her first Ironman.

Lindsay Zemba from Palmyra Pennsylvania placed 2nd in her age goup W25-29 at the Timberman 70.3 Triathlon in Gilford, New Hampshire

Pat Peppler from Barrington IL was third in his age group M55-59 at the Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 in Benton Harbor, Michigan

Danny Clark from Avon Indiana was 2nd Overall at the YMCA Spirit, Sprint Triathlon in Evansville, Indiana.

Ryan Lindsay from Glendale, Arizona was the overall amateur male at Emmett's Most Excellent Triathlon in Emmett Idaho

Diana Hassel from Ft Collins, Colorado won her W40-44 age group at the 5430 Triathlon and the half iron distance in Boulder, Colorado

Kimberly Schwabenbauer from Baden, Pennsylvania placed 2nd female overall at the Pittsbugh Triathlon in Pennsylvania.

Bruce Antonowicz from Dupont Washington was second overall at the Fort Lewis Sprint Triathlon in Fort Lewis Washington.

Katy Rosane from Eagle River, Alaska placed 7th in here W45-49 age group at Ironman Lake Placid. She qualified for The Ironman World Champioships in Kona Hawaii.

Elizabeth Grundy from Penning New Jersey won her age group W40-44 at the Olympic distance New Jersey State Triathlon in Mercer County Park, New Jersey.

Steph Popelar from Parker Colorado was the overall woman winner at the State Games of the West Triathlon in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Edie Fisher from from Kenora Ontario Canada was second overall female at the Bridgetown half iron in Nova Scotia Canada.

Bryan Payne from Burlington ON Canada placed 3rd in his M40-44 age group at the Gravenhurst Olympic Distance Triathlon in Muskoka ON Canada.

Debbie Potts from Bothel WA placed 2nd in her age group W35-39 and third overall woman at the Troika half iron triathlon in Washington.

Edie Fisher from Kenora Ontario Canada was the overall female winner at the Kenora Olympic distance triathlon in Kenora Ontario Canada.


July 2008 news: Triathlon training is is even more fun when you get results.

Helge Babel from Fischentel Switzerland took 1st place in his M50-54 age group at the Challange Roth Iron Distance Triathlon in Germany. Helge clocked 8:53:37 including a sub 3 hour marathon, clearly one of the fastest Iron times ever by a 50+ year old.

Debbie Potts from Bothel WA placed 2nd in her age group W35-39 at the Lake Stevens 70.3 triathlon in Lake Stevens Washington.

Duane Reed from Clyde Hill WA won his M65-69 age group at the Lake Stevens 70.3 triathlon in Lake Stevens Washington.

Brett Sublett from Durango Colorado won the Masters Division and M40-44 age group at the Buffalo Springs Lake 70.3 in Lubbock Texas and qualified for the Hawaii Ironman.

Steven Smith from Granger Indiana took 1st in the M60-64 age group at the Buffalo Springs Lake 70.3 in Lubbock Texas and qualified for the Hawaii Ironman.

Jeff Loutit from Los Altos, California won the M50-54 age group at the San Diego International Triathlon in California.

Gary Clendenin from Orange California raced in the L.A. Triathlon Championship finale and won his M55-59 age group and took the championship title for the series.

Kristal Maes from Savanna, Georgia was the overall female at the West Point Lake Olympic Distance Triathlon in LaGrange, Georgia.

Mindy Houser from West Bloomfield, Michigan was the Overall female winner at the Xterra Torn Shirt triathlon in Howell, Michigan.

Ally Green from Bettendorf, Iowa won her age group W20-24 at the Big Foot Olympic Triathlon in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Karen Maldonado from The Woodlands, Texas was the overall winner at the TriAmerica Distance Triathlon in Clearlake Houston, Texas.

Crissy Fuentes from Annapolis, Maryland won her W50-54 age group at the Ironman 70.3 Eagleman Triathlon and qualified for the Hawaii Ironman.

Ryan Lindsay from Glendale, Arizona won his M25-29 age group at the Boise 70.3 triathlon in Idaho. This was Ryan's first half ironman and he clocked a speedy 4:19.
Duane Reed from Clyde Hill Washington at age 69 won the M65-69 age group at the Hawaii 70.3 triathlon. Duane passed on his slot for Kona.
Charlie Brockus from Reno Nevada won his M55-59 Age group at the Hawaii 70.3 triathlon and qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Kona.
Kelly Lear-Kaul from Littleton, Colorado was the overall amateur winner at Ironman Brazil. Kelly clocked a PR 9:52 and would have placed second among the professional woman.

Grant Titman from Toowong QLD, Australia placed 7th in his M35-39 age group at Ironman Australia Port Macquaria and qualified for the Ironman world championships. This was Grant's first Ironman.
Cassie McWilliam from Rye New York won the W40-44 age group at the St Croix Ironman 70.3 in the Virgin Islands. Cassie qualified for the Hawaii Ironman in Kona Hawaii.

October/November news: Triathlon training when done right should equal results. Over the past 6 weeks our athletes have made us very proud.

At the Clearwater Ironman 70.3 World Championships we crowned two Age Group World Champions and another three athletes who made the podium.

At Ironman Florida we would like to recognize two of our pro males and 3 other athletes who earned slots for the Ironman World Championships in Kona.
Aleksandar Markovic from Copenhagen Denmark placed 13th in the male professional division with an 8:44 clocking.
Dan Morwood from Kenora Ontario Canada placed 14th in the male professional division with an 8:46 clocking.
Kathy Frailing from Largo Florida placed 4th in the W40-44 division earning a spot for the Hawaii Ironman.
Kelly Brandson from Withby Ontario Canada placed 5th in the M45-49 division earning yet passing on a spot for the Hawaii Ironman.
Our own coach Marco Coelho placed 8th in the M30-34 division earning a spot for the Hawaii Ironman.


At the Hawaii Ironman World championships we successfully coached 41 athletes and 100% finished. In addition we crowned one World Champion and an additional 4 athletes earned spots on the podium.
