    Maintenance Schedule

    I just signed up for the Maintenance Plan and it calculated a 20 week plan.  I start on 31 March 08.  My goal race (half-ironman) is 25 Oct 08 (30 weeks out).  I want to know if the maintenance plan is too long, in that I will only have 10 weeks for the peak performance plan.  I do not recall inputting my goal race date.  I am new to the sport and recognize that I need to spend as much time building a good base this year.  My goal for the half-ironman is a strong finish while staying healthy and injury-free in the process.

    I have been training on my own very consistently since Jan and am really excited about working within a structured plan.

    Hi Jeff,

    Under the covers (web site) there is always a 20 week plan. But just make sure you only pay for 10 and get 10.  Then in 10 weeks come back to teh web site. Login and click on 'make program' once more updating your fitness questionnaires with hopefully better numbers to start your "peak performance" plan.

    Luis,

       Thank you for the quick response.  That makes perfect sense, I just wanted to clarify.  I am looking forward to working through the maintenance plan and then starting the peak performance plan.
