Don Cox from Seattle Washington who took second in the M60-64 at Ironman Arizona. Despite the windy conditions on the bike. Don had a perfect race and posted his Ironman Personal Best.
Roger Mentha from Forster NSW Australia who placed 19th in the M40-44 age group at Ironman Australia. Roger was guarded on race day by the spirit of his son Tim who is no longer with us but in our prayers. Timothy James Mentha passed away in February this year.
Cheryl Ogden from Gladstone QLD Australia who placed second in the W50-54 age group at Ironman Australia. Cheryl's road was a tough one with some injuries, a collision with an automobile in training and cramps on race day. Yet she managed to stay strong and we will be meeting her in Hawaii.
Sherry Coons from Kihei, Maui, Hawaii who won the W40-44 age group at the Lavaman triathlon in Waikoloa Hawaii. Sherry is not only talented but also lucky. All age group winners’ names at Lavaman get put in a hat and 2 lucky names get drawn for a Hawaii Ironman slot. Now, that is the way to qualify.
